I get asked the same question ALL the time. “Hey bro, what supplements are you on?” When I first met my trainer, I would ask him the same thing, and he would reply, “Nothin’. Just good ‘ol greens and cornbread!” lol! While my answer may not be as entertaining, it’s basic, it works, and it’s the truth nonetheless. My response is always, “I like to keep it basic. All I’m taking is protein, amino acids, and vitamins.” When I give them this answer, they look at me like a calf staring at a new gate!
I always like to keep things very simple and basic. If you want to grow naturally, which is what I suggest, you will need lots of food and good, quality supplements. Okay, so now you all know what kind of supplements I take…now it’s time to tell you EXACTLY what supplements I take! Here goes:
Yep…it’s literally called “Post-Workout Recovery” haha! This is my FAVORITE protein to take after a workout. The protein/carb ratio is fantastic. Two grams of creatine are in each serving. There are many protein powders out there that taste like dirt. That is NOT the case with Post-Workout Recovery! I actually look forward to my protein shake after I get done at the gym! Simply put, it tastes great every single time, and it doesn’t get old. Both vanilla and chocolate tastes great! Each container contains 25 servings.
I workout twice a day. After my weight training, I use Post-Workout Recovery, but after my cardio session, I use Muscle Gain. When I get through with my cardo, I just want an all out protein drink, and Muscle Gain is perfect for me. It tastes pretty good. Not as great as Post-Workout Recovery, but it still tastes good. Great amino acid profile and doesn’t contain any creatine. 25 servings per container.
This is my FAVORITE product! It combines the power of L-Arginine and L-Leucine. L-Arginine is great for vascularity. It regulates blood flow and makes sure to keep the blood vessels clean. L-Arginine is the per-cursor to Nitric Oxide. Looking for your body to get anabolic? The L-Leucine content of this product will definitely benefit you. L-Leucine is an amino acid that will help get your body in a more anabolic state naturally. See, you don’t need steroids!
So there it is folks! The list above is what I like to call my “Big 3!” I use them as a stack along with a multi-vitamin and fish oils. For my vitamin I use CorePlex, and for my fish oils, I use OmegaPlex. Pretty basic stuff eh? I’ve been using these supplements VERY consistently, and I’ve gotten amazing results. The good news is, that you can too! Check these supplements out and tell me what you think! Leave your comments below 😀
